CREATIVE INDUSTRY OF WEAVING BATIK CRAFTSMEN: SOCIO-ECONOMIC CONDITION IN POST COVID-19

This study aims to analyze the condition of the Weaving Gedog batik artisans in the Kerek District of Tuban Regency during the Covid-19 pandemic. The analytical method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method. The population in this study were all of the weaving batik craftsmen of Guned Weaving in the Kerek subdistrict of Tuban Regency and the sample used in this study was 79 with random sampling technique determination. The results of this study are the production activity variable has a 21% chance, the marketing distribution variable is 18% and the sales turnover variable is 18% to the increase in batik craftsmanship income during the Covid-19 pandemic.
